Your privacy at Animbrio
The short version: Animbrio offers free browser-based GIF and video-making tools without requiring an account. PanAndZoom processes the images you select in your browser, and both tools create downloadable animations on your device. We do not ask you to upload these creations to an Animbrio account or server.
Like other websites, Animbrio relies on hosting and outside services that can receive technical data when your browser connects to them. The details, including planned advertising disclosures, are below.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Animbrio (animbrio.com) provides free creative tools, including GlobeZoom and PanAndZoom. This policy describes the information involved when you visit our pages, use these tools, or contact us.

2. Your photos, animations, and map selections
- PanAndZoom: When you choose a photo or image, your browser reads and processes it locally to make previews, GIFs, or videos. The current tool does not transmit that image to an Animbrio server for rendering.
- GlobeZoom: Your saved camera views, chosen destinations, and the generated GIF or video are handled in the browser. GlobeZoom requests the map tiles and supporting resources needed to draw the map from third-party services; those services can receive ordinary web-request information.
- Downloads and sharing: Generated files are prepared locally for you to download or share. If you choose a device share option or send the file using another application, that application handles it under its own terms and privacy practices.
Animbrio does not currently offer visitor accounts, a public upload gallery, or server storage for completed animations. Closing or refreshing an editor may clear the work held in that browser session. We do not intentionally collect the contents of your selected photos or completed animations.
3. Technical information from website visits
Our site is hosted using Cloudflare. To deliver pages, provide security, and diagnose technical issues, hosting and network services may process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
- browser type, device information, operating system, and language settings;
- requested page or resource, referring page, date and time, and response/error information;
- security signals used to detect automated activity or abuse.
This information may be handled in provider logs or security systems, even though the animation itself is created locally. We do not claim that visiting Animbrio produces no technical records.
4. Maps and other third-party resources
GlobeZoom currently uses OpenFreeMap for map resources; its map interface loads MapLibre software through the unpkg content-delivery service. GlobeZoom also downloads city and country reference datasets from GitHub-hosted sources when place search is first needed.
These connections may reveal ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser details, resource requests, and timestamps, to the relevant providers. GlobeZoom matches the typed place-search text against downloaded lists in your browser; it does not currently send each search phrase to a separate online geocoding service.
Third-party providers have their own privacy practices. For example, see the OpenFreeMap privacy policy and GitHub privacy statement. If we replace these services with self-hosted resources, we will update this policy.
5. Advertising, cookies, and similar technologies
Current status: As of the date above, the advertisement areas on Animbrio are reserved placeholders rather than active Google AdSense placements. If advertising is activated, we will update this page as needed to reflect the actual advertising services and consent choices offered.
When Google AdSense or other third-party advertising is enabled: Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver and measure advertisements, detect invalid activity, and support advertising services. Such parties may place cookies in your browser or read cookies already stored there as a result of advertisements shown on Animbrio.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Animbrio or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites on the internet, where personalization is permitted.
Learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services. You can control or opt out of personalized Google ads through Google My Ad Center. You can also visit AdChoices to opt out of certain participating third-party vendors' interest-based advertising. These options do not necessarily disable all advertising, cookies, or measurement.
If additional advertising vendors are enabled, we will identify the relevant vendors or provide links to their details and available opt-out choices. Advertising partners may have their own privacy policies and retention practices.
6. Privacy choices and consent
You can manage browser cookies through your browser settings. Where applicable law requires advertising consent or an opt-out mechanism, we will provide the relevant controls when the advertising features are activated. Some regions, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, have additional consent requirements for Google advertising.
Your browser settings, advertising preferences, and any consent choices presented on the site can affect which advertisements and technologies are used. Disabling optional advertising technologies should not be required to prevent you from using the basic GIF and video creation tools.
To ask a privacy question or make a request about information we control, contact animbrio@gmail.com. We will review applicable access, correction, or deletion requests under relevant law. Information held independently by third-party services may need to be addressed with those providers.
7. Email and support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, along with any information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to questions, investigate bugs, and handle related correspondence. Email is provided through Google Gmail, which processes messages as an email service provider.
Please do not send passwords, sensitive personal information, or private images unless they are genuinely needed to explain your request. We may retain relevant correspondence for support and recordkeeping and delete it when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable obligations. We cannot promise a fixed retention period for third-party hosting or email systems.
8. Retention, security, and external links
Animbrio's editors do not intentionally maintain server-side copies of visitors' selected photos, saved views, or exported files. Website request information and security logs may be retained by our hosting or resource providers according to their policies and configurations. We use HTTPS and service-provider security measures, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely risk-free.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience and credit. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
9. Updates to this policy
We may revise this policy if Animbrio changes its tools, mapping infrastructure, analytics, advertising providers, or data practices. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made. The current version will remain available at animbrio.com/PrivacyPolicy/.
